  • Performing heating and cooling load estimate using loads and energy simulation softwares for residential, commercial and industrial buildings
  • Designing cooling and heating Systems, chiller and boiler Central Plant, steam generating plant, Combined Heat and Power (CHP) and system piping and air distribution ducting based on Ontario Building Code (OBC), ASHRAE Standards, ASME, NFPA and CSA Codes
  • Designing compressed air distribution piping and pneumatic tubing
  • Designing natural gas piping system based on natural gas installation safety code
  • Designing industrial ventilation includes dust collectors and scrubbers, ventilation hoods, air cleaners, mist collectors, dry and wet desiccant dehumidification system and high vacuum system for general and classified area
  • Designing chiller plant refrigeration emergency ventilation system applying CSA code
  • Providing feasibility Study and Front End Engineering Design (FEED)
  • Preparing control sequence of operation for HVAC Building Automation System (BAS) to ensure comfort and to manage energy costs and consumption
  • Sizing and selecting control devices and instruments including control valves and dampers, temperature, pressure and humidity sensors, flow meter, pneumatic and electric actuators, smoke and carbon dioxide sensors
  • Providing services to get regulatory approval and permit (i.e. municipal construction permit and TSSA approval).
  • Providing technical support and guidance to construction staff during construction, start up and commissioning to ensure construction conform to codes, standards, internal procedures and regulations
